We have had the whole house to ourselves for a week now! Ergül is going to be gone for the majority of the next seven weeks and we don't know how long Şavaş will be gone. We are very lucky. After this it will be hard to move back into a small apartment. So, we enjoy it while it lasts.
We had our first guest for dinner and we ate on the upper terrace, it was very nice. Eating a home cooked meal with our friend Bayram, while watching the traffic on the golden horn (Haliç), as the sun went down and a full harvest moon rose over the city. We could not ask for much more.
We have one more week of work with our current job (three more days of work making a total of five). Eric might have a job doing one-on-one English tutoring starting this weekend. We will see, we are torn between knowing that we need income and giving up our carefree life. Well I am at least.
